This was the beginning of London Arts and Crafts Shows and Sales. The next fall show occupied both floors of Centennial Hall and over 80 craftspeople participated. It was a tremendous success and as word of mouth spread about the fine quality of the show. More and more people attended. The show became a tradition with many, many people from London and surrounding area attending. The fall show outgrew Centennial Hall and Olga decided to move it to Canada Building at western Fairgrounds.
Meanwhile many craftspeople asked Olga to Organize a Christmas theme Orientated at Christmas decorations and gift giving ideas. This show was a smash hit, and would become a hugely successful and well attended show. Olga decided to call this arts and crafts show and sale the Christmas craft festival. This show is held in the progress building in December t the Western Fairground and is London's largest craftshow and sale.
With over 150 craftspeople participating, it has truly become a London tradition. It became clear to Olga that a void existed for shows in the spring. Crafts people needed a show in the spring after the long hard winter, in order to keep their income coming in and so the London Arts and Crafts Spring Show and Sale were born. These 3 shows are the longest running arts and crafts shows in the London area. Each show has its own venue and proven record, attracting good craftspeople, and excellent crowds.
